Hadrians Wall What fantastic hosts and amazing food. By Jill & Bill Hardaker
2 Nights stop over Such welcoming hosts, can't do too much for you. Will come again. By Jean & Lester Bishop
Hadrian's Wall Trek The very essence of a perfect bed and breakfast. Yvette and Norman are excellent hosts, so welcoming and their beautiful home is warm and comfortable. The extensive breakfast menu is outstanding, includes an Arnold Bennett omelette!! Our room had a vast bed and a luxurious claw foot bath where I had the most amazing deep and hot bath, very welcome after walking 16 miles. We wish we had known more of Yvette’s culinary skills, as we would have booked ahead an evening meal. Also may I add Carlisle was quite surprising. Lots of beautiful Georgian and Victorian terraces in tree lined streets. We we impressed by how smart it all was. Thank you Norman, Yvette, Charlie and Harry. We thoroughly recommend your hospitality. 👍 By Bonsers & Daws Hadrian's Wall Trek We really hope you are both doing well, and have been able to enjoy the last month. Thank you so much again for your hospitality, we had a fantastic time staying with you! Love By Emma, Fran, Kirsty, Jess and Louise
Vibrant stay with vibrant people My short stay here was very comfortable. The couple who ran the place were very friendly and hospitable and the room was traditional and cosy. Perfect location just outside the bustle of the city centre but easily walkable and also very close to Hadrian's Wall trail. By Dan Frost We found the hosts Norman and Yvette very friendly We found staying at Langleigh
House very enjoyable. Norman and Yvette could not have been more helpful. The
rooms are lovely the breakfasts superb. First class experience.

Our stay on 10th October Dear Yvette and Norman, Just a quick note to thank you both for your wonderful hospitality during our stay with you on 10th October. Chris and I really appreciate the warmth of your welcome, the comfortable and well appointed rooms and the epic breakfast which set us up for our walk the next day. The packed lunch hit the spot. Overall, we can't thank you enough! By Bob & Chris Common Whilst not an accident it was good chance that my wife and I
selected the Langleigh Guest House from the extensive list featured in
your holiday and short breaks guide 2005.
From arrival to departure we were made to feel at home. Fie cuisine was taken in the recently completed splendour at number 14.
As worldwide travellers, many so called luxury hotels that we have visited would be overshadowed by this haven.
The Langleigh complements the city of Carlisle; Carlisle should compliment the Langleigh.
Yours sincerely
MF & SG Neal
By MF & SG Neal I came as a guest and was treated as a friend.
By E.M. Field My wife and I spent a highly enjoyable week as the guests of Mrs
Rogers and were very impressed by the standards she offered. There was a
warm welcome, the bed was one the comfortable I have ever slept on,
fresh milk was provided for the morning cup of tea and nothing was too
much trouble. We particularly appreciated the evening meal shed offered
at a time convenient to ourselves. My wife has a serious dietary problem
and Mrs Rogers took a lot of effort to give attractive, nourishing
meals within the constraints of the diet. We both found Mrs Rogers
culinary skills superb! If all Carlisle's guest house offer the same
standards the whole world will beat a path to your lovely city.
We will be back!
Yours faithful
Andrew J. Williamson
By Andrew J. Williamson We received a very warm welcome on our arrival which had been
postponed due to travelling difficulties. The accommodation was excellent, the house beautifully decorated for the Christmas season; the breakfasts very good and the friendly service given by Yvette and her staff could not be bettered.
Altogether a pleasant experience which we would recommend!
Yours Sincerely
